organs, which can be devastated easily without proper protection. A radiology technician will also
need to know how much radiation beam is sufficient to generate clear and accurate images. Radiation

right dosage of radiation is used.
Although it is the responsibility of the technician to explain the imaging procedure to a patient,
his job description does not include explaining what the images say about their health. He needs to
refrain for giving any explanations or comments about the results of the imaging procedures and
should tell the patient that it is his doctor or radiologist that will read and interpret the
results. Working in this field requires excellent physical stamina and endurance because daily
responsibilities involve constant standing, as well as lifting heavy equipment and turning patients
